Internet Privacy

In this day and age, the Internet has not only engulfed our lives socially, but also economically. As more and more users flock to the Internet, more and ore users are releasing their personal information into the hands of data-miners, whose purpose is to redistribute your personal information, sometimes for a purpose, sometimes without your permission or knowledge. As a senator who not only represents her state of West Virginia, but also the nation as a whole, I strive to ensure that the rights we have been guaranteed in the Constitution as Citizens of the United States follows us to cyberspace, and protect us from over-reaching businesses and the government alike.
